Hearing:
1. Pinna collects sound waves and transmits them to external auditory opening
2. Sound waves are then transmitted from external auditory canal to tympanic membrane
3. Tympanic membrane vibrates and transmits vibrations to the ossicles
4. The ossicles amplify the vibrations and transmit them to the oval window
5. Oval window vibrates causing pressure waves in the perilymph of the Scala vestibuli
