1. ONDERSTEUNENDE COMMUNICATIE

- (Gesproken) communicatie wordt ondersteund
→ Door andere communicatievormen e/o hulpmiddelen die ondersteunend werken op
(rest)vaardigheden v/d gebruiker
o Vlaamse gebarentaal is GEEN ondersteunende gebarentaal
o Spraak + gebarentaal wordt gezien als standaardtaal
- Hoofdcommunicatie is spraak
- Ondersteunende communicatie is normaal verschijnsel (vb. micro, borden, lichaamstaal)
- Maar ook
o Foto’s
o Tekeningen
o Pictogrammen

→ Ondersteunende wijzen worden meer expliciet uitgewerkt voor personen met communicatiestoornis

- Multimodaliteit = meer dan 1 kanaal wordt gebruikt voor communicatie
