fuel tanks. One gallon is unusable in each tank. There is one driven and one electrically driven
fuel pump. The electrical fuel pump is used for all takeoffs and landings, and when switching
tanks.
Electrical Sytem Correct Ans-Has 28- volt DC electrical system and a 24 volt lead- acid
battery. Electrical power is supplied by a 70-amp, engine-driven alternator. A voltage

PFD and MFD Correct Ans-Primary flight information shows in place of traditional pitot
static and gyroscopic instruments. Also provides and HSI for navigation.
ADC Correct Ans-Air data computer compiles information from the pitot-static system and
an outside air tempertutre sensor to provide pressure altitutude, airspeed, vsi, and outside air
temp on the PFD.
Magnetometer Correct Ans-Senses the earths magnetic field and sends data to the AHRS
for processing to determine magnetic heading.
Temp Probe Correct Ans-Provides outside air temp, OAT, data to the ADC
Dual Garmin GNS 430 Correct Ans-GPS provides input to the AHRS and PFD/MFD
Heater Correct Ans-Heat for the cabin and the defroster system are provided by a heater
shroud that routes air past the exhaust manifold and directs it into the cabin. The amount of
heat desired can be regulated with the controls located on the far right side of the instrument
panel.
