What is "direct supervision" in RI Laws - --Direct supervision of Pesticide
applications means "on-site".
-doesn't mean supervisor is in contact by cell or radio or has given written
instructions to the unlicensed or uncertified person.
-Must a pesticide be registered in RI to be used in RI? - -yes, every pesticide
must be registered annually in RI
-How can you tell if a pesticide is registered in RI? - -No label statement so
cannot tell if it is registered in RI. Check DEM website or call division of
Agriculture.
-Difference between commerical license & commericial certification - --
Commerical License: General Use Pesticide
-Commerical Certification: Restricted use pesticide
-Difference between a private applicator & commerical applicator - -Private:
Growers/farmers that produce agricultural goods on land they own/rent
Commerical: Don't produce agricultural goods& apply pesticides for hire on
property of others
-Licensed Pesticide Dealer - -Person that sells restricted & state limited use
pesticides to certified applicators
-What are some unlawful acts that could result in denial, suspension or
revocation of a license? - --False or fradulant claims of pesticide effects or
methods utilized.

stored or transported in violation of RIPCA, the Div. of Ag. will issue this to
stop the sale or removal. May not be used until Div of Ag releases it.

pesticide & state limited use pesticides
-includes names, quatntites of restricted use & state limited use,date of sale,
EPA Reg. # sold, name of seller and certification # of buyer
