Postpartum Depression.
Introduction
Implementing changes in the delivery of treatment for postpartum depression
(PPD) will use Stetler's model. Physica exercise is EBP fronted to manage the
symptoms of PPD. Exercise alleviates symptoms of PPD by increasing the
concentration of endorphins in the body (DiPietro et al., 2019). Implementation of the
practice is bound to experience challenges and success. PPD has been a challenge to
young mothers as the symptoms go undetected, and little attention has been paid to it
(Rahman et al., 20). This paper will discuss the key areas of the change
implementation plan and the rationale behind choosing physical exercise as the best
method to deal with PPD.
Setting and Access to Potential Subjects
The study will be based on Texas Children's Hospital OB/ OBN Clinic, where
potential subjects bring their children to the clinic. The hospital serves many people,
and it will be easier to get the required number of subjects who might suffer from
postpartum depression. Consent is needed from the subjects since it will be a study
involving people.
Timeline
The study will take about eight months to be completed. The first six months
will be purely used to collect data from subjects coming to the hospital and keying it
into an Excel worksheet. The first month will be spent looking for the participants to
participate in the study, and implementation of the program will start as soon as the
required number of participants is attained.

The required budget for implementing the Stetler model in maternal healthcare
will center around the paperwork and provision of lunch to medical personnel. The
project will operate under a limited budget of $1250 in eight months. Implementation
of the model will rely on healthy volunteers to eliminate the cost of paying stipends.
The only consumable item used will be the papers used to administer the
questionnaire and the ink used for printing which the hospital will purchase.

The research will be quantitative to measure the success of the intervention
measure accurately. Quantitative data will show the prevalence and give accurate
Information that will guide future research efforts (Mathews et al., 2021). The data
will show relations among various variables tested in the implementation and evaluate
the outcomes of the intervention measures (Mathews et al., 2021). Quantitative data
will make it easy to analyze variance and post hoc tests to establish specific places
where significant variation exists among the data sets.

use owing to the many participants and limited staff.
Process for Delivering Intervention and Needed Training
Three nurses will be asked to assist in implementing physical exercise therapy
for subjects visiting the facility. The intervention measures will be delivered to
patients by the three nurses, and their progress will be monitored every time they
