(15) a) Explain factors of marketing environment that may affect marketing decisions of the SME targeting African consumer (5 marks for the theoretical discussion). b) Provide practical example of how marketing environment will affect marketing decisions of the chosen SME (10 marks for the practical application). (15) a) Discuss challenges of doing business in Africa (5 marks for the theoretical discussion). b) Provide practical examples as to how your specific SME will be able to overcome those challenges (10 marks for practical application). Section 4: Recommendations: Based on the discussions above, provide recommendations to the chosen SME/SMME and substantiate your reasons (advise or recommend on what needs to be done to improve the chosen SME/SMME). In addition to that, recommendations are practical applications of the chosen SME/SMME. (15) Address the following as technical care and presentation: Track changes are stopped and accepted. The table of content is included. An introduction and conclusion are included. The document is reader friendly (headings and sub-headings). The correct referencing technique (in-text references and reference list) is used. (10) This is a practical assignment; however, do not explain the theory from your prescribed material ONLY. You must also consult various other academic sources and incorporate the relevant practical information about the store. The portfolio you submit must follow a logical flow.
