Format: This paper contains 2 calculation questions and 30 multiple choice questions
examining material covered in topics 1 – 4. The calculations are worth 5 marks
each and the MCQ 1 mark each. Total marks 40.
Location: Online LMS. Under section ‘In-Term Test’, Post Workshop,
click the icon indicated by the red arrow.
Date: The test may be taken at 10.00 am (Dubai time) on Thursday 13th June.
Collusion: Note that this is an individual assessment, and that any collusion (including
posting on or accessing online help sites such as Chegg or Coursehero) or using
AI such as ChatGPT is regarded as a serious offence by the university.
Calculations: Answer the calculation questions on paper and then transpose them onto LMS using
the built-in equation editor. Alternatively, photograph your workings and embed
the images in a word or pdf document and upload this to LMS. You may also
upload the images directly, however not all image types are supported.
Please keep a copy of your work in case there are problems with the upload.
