What types of primary and secondary sources will you need to use to support the topic
you are examining in your essay? You don't need the actual sources yet, but you should
have an idea of what they might be (such as an eyewitness account of an event, for
example).
I would like to use primary sources such cartoon drawing created about the event and
published during this time frame, pictures taken during the event, an eye witness account of
an event, or a newspaper article about the event during the time frame of the event. I would
also like to use secondary sources such as biography's written by people that were involved in
the event, articles in journals, or history textbook sections covering the, "Trail of Tears."
