• Lab Report 2 - Evolution Expt INC = increase
○ General Hypothesis: Does X impact the GASP phenotype?
○ Does your data support the hypothesis?
• Explain using literature and be specific!
• If your hypothesis is not supported, explain as well as you can-- that's what we're graded
on!
• How does each piece of data relate to the others?
○ Future directions: specific and relevant to report data, brief description of what expt would
entail.
○ Title: should include the what(are you doing), who(are you doing it on), and how(are you
performing this expt)? Ex: "Evaluating Antibiotic Sensitivity of an ABA DABA Designated
Bacteria via Kirby-Bauer Testing"
○ Introduction: background on major expts should be ~1 sentence (do NOT want
materials/methods section); same for results. When describing different phases("bacterial
culture growth"), be short and use what was covered in lecture-- so you don't have to cite it!
