B. REVIEW OF THE PAST LESSON
Last meeting, we have discussed the
different types of ports and cables or
connectors. Right? Yes, Ma’am.
Review of the six (6) most essential
cables and connectors on our computer
system.
1. VGA (Visual Graphics Array)
Connector – connector used for
computer video output.
2. PS/2 (Personal System) Connector –
known as the mouse and keyboard
port, it was created by IBM
(International Business Machine)
Corporation.
3. USB (Universal Serial Bus) Connector -
used to connect electronic components
to the computer or other digital devices.
4. Ethernet Cable/ Connector - - used to
wire your internet to your computer,
rather than having to rely on a more
finicky Wi-Fi connection.
5. Audio Connector - - used for carrying
the audio signal.
6. Power Cable - Used to connect the
computer to an electrical utility or power
supply.
