A: Instructional Goal

• Instructional goal: For students to fluently multiply two- and three-digit numbers.
• 5th grade math

• This specific goal will support student learning, thinking, and engagement by

offering different modes of learning the material. Students will have hands on

opportunities to practice multi digit multiplication. Students will utilize paper and

online resources to engage students. Leveled material to challenge and support

students in their proficiency acquisition.

A1: Instructional Strategies

The first strategy that I will implement is small groups. Students will be in leveled small

groups once the whole group lesson has been taught. This is to reinforce the whole group

lesson, identify where students need support, and tailor the lesson to individual student needs.
