Hippocratic Oath - ️️ -The oath of Hippocrates is a brief statement of principles. It is thought to have been conceived during the 4th century BCE. The oath protected the rights of the patient. It also addressed the moral character of the physician as a healer The Hippocratic Oath was modified in the 10th or 11th century to eliminate references to pagan gods. The oath remains an expression of ideal conduct for the physician. Carbohydrates - ️️ -Composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Under normal circumstances, they serve as the body's source of fuel. Carbohydrate are obtained primarily from plant foods. Plants store carbohydrates as starch, which is made up of granules enclosed by cellulose walls that swell and burst when cooked. This feature makes cooked starchy foods easier to digest than raw, uncooked starchy foods. The only important source of animal carbohydrates is lactose (Milk Sugar). Simplex System - ️️ -Communication mode in which information can be transmitted or received in only one direction at a time on a single frequency.
