in Impoverished Rural Communities: An Action Research Perspective"

could guide the above-mentioned research.

"What are the impacts of parental involvement on the academic performance of
learners with disabilities in impoverished rural
communities?"
Subsidiary Questions:
1. "How does the level of parental involvement correlate with the academic
performance of learners with disabilities in rural schools?"
2. "What barriers and challenges do parents in impoverished rural areas face that

learners with disabilities face formidable challenges in their pursuit of education. The
detrimental effects of poverty and inadequate parental involvement on the academic
performance of these learners are well-documented. This study aims to shed light on
a critical social issue -insufficient parental
engagement in the education of learners with disabilities within impoverished rural
communities. The academic success of learners with disabilities is significantly
influenced by the level of parental involvement in their education.
