° Having separate places for school buses away from busy roads
° Emergency exits signed clearly
° Gates/fences to stop children accessing road
Health+safety management systems:
→ A framework set of guidelines or tool that helps those responsible manage
correctly
· No harmful Objects on Site
· H+SC checks of outdoor areas
· Removing + washing bed linen
Possession+individual:
→ Making sure everyones possessions are secure
· doors locked -
· windows locked
· CCTV
Electrical safety
→ precautions needed when working with electrics
· No exposed wires
· plugs away from children (nursery)
· Electrical goods checked regulary
Lone working:
→ Official Written document that covers any risks faced by lone workers
· signed +dated task sheet
· Risk assessment
· phone before visit
Workplace hazards and risk control:
→ Steps taken to protect workers
· Assess any risk
· Assess bedrooms, areas etc
Food safety:
→ Ensuring the safety+quality of food
· check temperatures of fridge + freezer
· Empty Waste bin
· check expiry date on food
Chemical and biological hazards:
→ All substances hazardous to health
· Check all bathrooms are cleaned
· dispose of cloths, aprons + gloves
security of premises:
→ Rules on who can access property
· Windows doors locked
· access + exit routes to and from the building checked with alarm on
