For this assignment, you were required to choose one topic. For topic one on gender-based violence, you were expected to
write a research-based discursive essay of 600 words in length, which comprised two parts consisting of 300 words each. For
topic two on media censorship, you were required to write a research-based argumentative essay of 500 words. Since this
was a research-based essay, it was important for you to do the following:
- Conduct thorough research by consulting recommended books and related additional resources to establish a sound
understanding of how to write a research-based essay, using the appropriate content, structure, language, and style.
