1.1 Inleiding bind – steunweefsels
- Mesoderm  mesenchymcellen = Multi potente stamcellen  kunnen nog verschillende
weefsels worden
o Mesenchymaal of embryonaal bindweefsel
- Grootste deel van weefsel ingenomen door ECM
- Eigenschappen ECM bepalen eigenschappen weefsel
- Onderverdeling
o Eigenlijk bindweefsel
o Bloed
o Kraakbeen
o Bot, dentine, cement
- Verschil met epitheelcellen
o Epitheelcellen liggen dichter bij elkaar
o Epitheelcellen hebben veel minder ECM
- Functies
o Mechanische steun dankzij aanwezigheid van collageen
o Transport van voedingstoffen
 Metabolieten zijn betrokken bij metabole processen in het lichaam
 ECM van bloed= bloedplasma  zeer vloeibaar dus ideaal voor transport
o Stapelen van reservestoffen: vetweefsel
o Verdediging
 Bv witte bloedcellen
o Herstel: eigenlijk bindweefsel
o Temperatuurregulatie: vetweefsel

1.2 Inleiding eigenlijk bindweefsel
- Kenmerken
o Verbindingsweefsel tussen weefsels en organen
o Plaats langswaar bloedvaten en zenuwelementen organen en weefsels bereiken
o Grote variatie aan cellen + grote hoeveelheid ECM
o Zenuwbundels, klieren en bloedvaten  eigenlijk bindweefsel
- Cellen
o Aanmaak en onderhuid van bindweefsel
 Mesenchymcellen= stamcellen  deze zullen differentiëren en nieuwe
bindweefsel cellen vormen bij beschadiging
 Eigenlijke bindweefsel cellen
 Fibroblast= jonge cel
 Fibrocyt= rijpe cel
o Isolatie + reserve
 Vetcellen
 Kunnen vetlagen vormen of verspreidt liggen
 Opslag energie
