Oral health and cardiovascular care: perceptions of people with cardiovascular disease. PloS ONE. 12 (7). 1- 17. The author reports a need for implementation of systemic data collection to establish benchmarks suggesting this will allow services to be evaluated and monitored. Utilizing emerging technology to create access to health pathways that facilitate a referral base and continuity of care. This article is relevant and provides current evidence-based data to support the need to incorporate alternative access pathways to patients with limited transportation and access issues.
