Give responses in a form (oral or written) that's easier for him 2. Dictate answers to a scribe 3. Capture responses on an audio recorder 4. Use a spelling dictionary or electronic spell-checker 5. Use a word processor to type notes or give responses in class 6. Use a calculator or table of "math facts" Setting Accommodations - Answer-1. Work or take a test in a different setting, such as a quiet room with few distractions 2. Sit where student learns best (ex. near the teacher) 3. Use special lighting or acoustics 4. Take a test in small group setting 5. Use sensory tools such as an exercise band that can be looped around a chair's legs (so fidgety kids can kick it and quietly get their energy out)
