Nationality/First Language: Turkish Assumed Knowledge: Students are already familiar with present simple and "will" for future events. Everyone will revise it one more time and see the difference. As it is a monolingual class students might prefer to speak/discuss in L1 Solution: I will always try to divert students attention to English. Students might use "will" in if clause. (It's a very common mistake) Solution: I will explain the meaning, the reason why "will" should be in the main clause, rather than just asking them to memorise the form though I will provide the form and give examples in worksheets. Students might not hear the contraction between subject and auxiliary verb. (E.g. He'll, She'll, I'll) Solution: We will do further drilling to make sure they can say and hear it. Number of Students: 12 Materials: Spare board markers 12 x First Controlled Practice worksheets 12 x Second Controlled Practice worksheets 3 x Board games, dices and board game pawn figures (Freer Practice) 12 x Homework
