Inleiding:
Bij een bestraling in het hoofd en het halsgebied wordt er standaard een zogenaamd positie
verificatie masker gemaakt. Het masker is essentieel bij de uitvoering van de bestraling in
het hoofdhalsgebied. Het masker dient 2 doelen: het zorgt voor de fixatie van het
hoofdhalsgebied, zodat er geen beweging optreedt tijdens de bestraling en de
referentielijnen worden hierop aangegeven.
