nursing research articles.The purpose for appraising an article is to evaluate the research process
followed by the author(s) of the assigned article. This information-intensive, time-

Independent variables are the post-elective
orthopedicsurgerypatients’pain,anxiety,mood,
nausea and the use medications with length of
hospitalization. The dependent variable is the
music therapy. Population included male and
female patients with various orthopedic
diseases, scheduled ortho surgeries for hips,
knees and shoulders at a medium age of 60.5
plus or minus 11.1 years.
