Social Determinants of Health Overall, the family can be described as being healthy. The principal social determinants of health have in large influenced this health status in the family. For one, the family resides in a favorable environment, with grocery shops being only a few minutes from the house. They have significant access to healthy foods. Consequently, the family has a favorable food program, which entails six days of eating nutritious homemade meals and only a day of eating junk foods. All three meals in the six days are balanced. The firstborn reports that she is not taking healthy meals. She had greater access to unhealthy foods in college, which led to her current obese state. Thirdly, the family is highly active.
