,WHAT IS AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT?
An employment contract is an agreement between the employer and the employee th
outlines the legal parts (terms) of the contract. This includes:
❖The conditions of the job
❖The responsibilities of the job
❖The rights of the employer/employee
Both parties are beholden to the contract until it either expires (i.e. the employee
leaves/is fired) or the terms are changed (i.e. new responsibilities are expected of the
employee due to management changes).
