KWALITEITSVOLLE GEZONDHEIDSZORG: DEFINITIE

We hebben 2 partijen:

 Patiënt: de persoon aan wie de gezondheidszorg wordt verstrekt, al dan niet op
eigen verzoek
o De wet van de recht van de patiënt
 Beroepsbeoefenaar: de persoon die de gezondheidszorg verstrekt
o Kwaliteitswet

Het geheel van deze partijen is de gezondheidszorg. Het is:

 Het bevorderen, vaststellen, behouden, herstellen of verbeteren van de
gezondheidstoestand van een patiënt
 Het uiterlijk van de persoon om voornamelijk ethische redenen veranderen
 De patiënt bij het sterven begeleiden

GEDEFINIEERD VANUIT DE ZORGORGANISATIE


DE WET VAN DE PATIËNT

Deze wet stelt dat de patiënt recht heeft op kwaliteitsvolle gezondheidszorg die
beantwoordt aan zijn behoefte. De gezondheidszorg is pas kwaliteitsvol wanneer:

 de zorg de kans verhoogt om gewenste gezondheidsresulttaen te bekomen
 de zorg overeenstemt met de huidige proffesionele kennis




DE KWALITEITSWET

Deze wet zorgt ervoor dat we de patiënt de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit van
gezondheidszorg te garanderen, ongeacht de plaats waar de zorg wordt gegeven.

Deze wet is van toepassing op:

 alle gezondheisbeoefenaars
 beoefenaars van niet- conventionele praktijken
