 You need to make decisions about work and studies based on your interests and
skills and on the requirements of higher education institutions and the job market.
 Find out about availability of jobs, availability of financial aid, study fees,
accommodation, and transport and how to apply.
 Act on your decision- make an effort to reply, have all forms and organise
requirements for your choice.
 Apply as early as June this year. Have provisional acceptance on grade 11 results and
final acceptance on matric results.

 It is what you want to do, not someone else’s decision
 Gathered as much info as possible on various options
 Researched jobs in detail- know qualifications, what it entails, salary,
transport.
