de oogzenuw en de retinale zenuwvezellaag

- ONH (optische zenuw)
- IOD (oogdruk)
- Gezichtsveld uitval

Invloeden oogdruk (Veel variatie gedurende de dag bij de oogdruk)
- Dikte cornea
- Sport
- Muziek (blaasinstrumenten)
- Voedsel
- Medicatie (zoals corticosteroïde)
- Drugsgebruik (verlaagd de oogdruk)

Dikte cornea bepalen:
- Pachymetrie
- OCT
- Pentacam

Gemiddelde oogdruk tussen de 10 en de 20.
Glaucoom begint vaak met een verhoogde oogdruk.

Invloeden meting:
- patiënt (bv adem inhouden)
- Corneale aandoeningen
- Optometrist
