Transport system in herbaceous (not woody) dicotyledonous plants:
 Xylem vessels/tissue: water, minerals and amino acids
 Phloem: assimilates (sucrose, amino acids)




Arrangement of vascular bundles

 No cambium as leaf doesn’t grow like a stem
Collenchyma = cells with extra thick cell walls (more cellulose) to provide
