As part of this investigation report I will be exploring the role of internet marketing and modern
marketing. I will be also exploring how their relation work and their differences and similarities.

Marketing is the action or business of promoting and selling product or services, including market
research and advertising, marketing is based on 4Ps, product, price, place and promotion and its role
in fundamental in the marketing strategies.

 Place is the location where the business is set and products are being sold, place is a very
important factor because it will attract more people if is better located for the audience.
 Product is any item that can be offered for sale to a market that might satisfy a want or need.
 Price is the money someone charges for a good or service, price is the one which creates sales
revenues all the others are costs.
 Promotion is the advancement of a product or idea through publicity or advertising, it is also the
stimulation of sales achieved through discounts, exhibitions, special offers and so on.

Internet marketing is the sale of items, products, services or goods over the internet, this type of
marketing uses various online advertising and different ways of payment that facilitate the purchase
of products, this type of marketing has created another 3 P’s that are as important as the 4 given
before. Those are people, process, and physical evidence.

 People is the final P of the marketing mix and they are the person that are interested in the
specific type of product, good or service, people is so important because they are the ones who
purchase the products, this fact makes them consumers
 Process is the way the online operation is carried out, and the way the delivery process of the
products is carried out
 Physical evidence, or real evidence is the way the product by its own is shown to consumers by
internet, which creates an image in the consumers of how the product will be.

Modern Marketing is a technique that businesses and companies use to connect their brands to
their customers and drive business results by blending strategy, creative, technology, and analysis. It
emphasizes the focus of marketing in customers while the link it to other business operations in
order to achieve profitability.

Modern marketing and e-marketing are linked to each other sharing a lot of similitudes and
purposes, they benefit each other by giving to companies more profitability.

A relation between electronic marketing and modern marketing is the use of internet and
technology and the implementation of digital access that gives to consumers weal time results and
offers

One of these similitudes is the use of internet, internet helps customers to find the product their
need, internet facilitates the customer access to different brands and companies that offer
consumers more availability of products and gives to them more diversity and variety of goods which
is an advantage because offer competitive prices to costumers that facilities their shop, which helps
customers to find the product they are looking for, another way that internet help meet customers’
needs is by the easy and quick access they provide this is because customers serve themselves
without the service of an employee, also, shopping online takes less time than going to a shop and
buy the product, it also helps consumers because they can do it at any time without worrying about
