protect the health of human beings directly and indirectly. The Road cleaner is used to maintain
our environment clean so that we feel fresh while walking on the streets. In general, numerous
machines such as electric motors, diesel engines, and robots are being used to clean the floor,
road. However, such processes create abundant pollution, require a lot of maintenance and are
very tough to carry out. An effort has been made to develop a mechanically operated eco-
friendly road sweeping machine so that it can be used for small space cleaning without
pollution. The cost of mechanically operated sweeping machine is less as compare to electric
operated sweeping machine and the machine is economical and comfortable for operating in
rural area and it is suitable on small spaces, it is eco-friendly to user. A machine must be
operated manually in order to be used as an alternative for conventional electric cleaning
machine.
Background of the Study:
Conventional floor cleaning machines are most widely used, as cleaning is one of the important
parameters for the sanitation and government regulations. For maintaining such places,
cleaning the floor is the major task which is necessary. There are conventional floor cleaning
machines available to perform floor cleaning operations. Generally, a conventional floor
cleaning machines requires electrical energy for its operation. So, in order to save energy and
the environment, we need to develop low-cost, user-friendly road cleaning machine.
Problem Statement:
Road cleaning machines or floor cleaning machines are used in private as well as commercial
area such as hospitals, malls, lawns, floors etc. Many of these devices required high amount of
electricity or fuel like petrol diesel for their operation. They produce enough pollution to pollute
environment. So in order to save energy and save nature, it is need to develop low cost and
user friendly road cleaning machine. Our focus is to develop a machine which should be
operated manually so that it can be alternative for conventional electric road cleaning machine.
