Was President Barack Obama Justified legally in killing bin laden
Legality of Osama bin Laden’s Killing The public widely welcomed the news regarding Osama’s killing. However, the legality of the action in the former president Barack Obama's announcement was omitted. Instead, there was a reference to the term justice but not the law. Bin Laden's legality's killing by the American forces on 2nd May 2011 is doubtful regarding domestic and international law. Obama's authorization of the event raises many questions regarding the tolerability of targeted killings of international terrorists. Bin Laden's killing cannot be justified on the bases of international humanitarian law since there was no evidence supporting the occurrence of an armed conflict between Al Qaeda terrorist group and the U.S. Despite all the presumption of acting against the law, the administration has since then stated that the kill mission complied with both International and domestic laws.
