D266 Task 3 B
To persuade my senior leadership audience to adopt my recommendation utilizing emotional intelligence, I would like to answer two questions that I believe they will ask during the presentation. These are their questions:
1.Do we have the proper technology and collaborative tools to allow working from home?
2.How can we track employee productivity to ensure quotas and business goals are being met?
These questions are relatively easy to answer. For the first one, yes, we are actively procuring
the proper technology available to allow for working from home. To further explain the answer with a focus on emotional intelligence, transparency, and building trust with the leaders, we will also explain the process. We will be providing each employee with a laptop, headset with microphone, and USB mouse along with all the charging cables. Each laptop will be given to them loaded with the necessary software, applications, and programs needed to do their jobs. All data and information will be stored in the cloud, ensuring that it is accessible by any employee who needs it at any time. We will train employees in collaborative programs as well, such as Zoom, Slack, Teams, and Google Meet. This will allow employees multiple avenues to connect and collaborate with each other. There will also be a mass calendar that is accessible by all employees so there are no questions as to availability. If there are any questions regarding this plan, the equipment, or the programs, we will answer any questions during the meeting.
