GMAT Verbal – Modifiers correct answers to pass 2023 Adverbs - correct answer One word modifiers that modifies almost anything but a noun or a pronoun. Several of these modifiers can be formed by just adding "-ly" to the corresponding adjective. (i.e. "quickly") Adjectives - correct answer One word modifiers that modifies ONLY a noun or a pronoun. Noun modifiers - correct answer Only modify nouns or pronouns (i.e. an adjective) When you can ask a "who, what, which, or where" question about a noun, and the answer points to the modifier you have this type of modifier.
