them to support your discussion.

Question 1
Read the abstract below and answer the questions that follow:
Self-Management for Teachers
Teachers face stressors from many sources. Too much work and not enough time.
Attending to their students’ needs. Dealing with parents. Pressure to meet academic
standards. The list goes on.
Most teachers have the sense to keep their cool and do what they can to get through
the day while staying professional. There are times when that is difficult. Sometimes
we feel on the verge of totally losing it. But there are strategies teachers can use to
manage stress, triggers, time and feel more in control in the classroom. (By Peyton,
2021)

1.1. Critically analyse and discuss the possible coping strategies for handling stress.
➢ MAINTAINING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE CAN PROVE TO BE PIVOTAL
IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. ONE'S PERSPECTIVE OFTEN PLAYS A
CRUCIAL ROLE IN SHAPING THE OUTCOMES. THEREFORE,
ADOPTING A POSITIVE MINDSET CAN LEAD TO DESIRABLE
RESULTS. "THE EFFECT OF ONE'S ATTITUDE ON MANAGING
CHALLENGING CIRCUMSTANCES CAN PROVE TO BE A
SIGNIFICANT MITIGATING FACTOR. "

➢ THE RECOGNITION OF THE EXISTENCE OF UNCONTROLLABLE
EVENTS IS IMPERATIVE AS IT FACILITATES AN UNDERSTANDING
THAT DESPITE ONE'S ARDENT EFFORTS, CERTAIN SITUATIONS
MAY REMAIN BEYOND THE REALM OF CONTROL. THIS
REALIZATION, IN TURN, ENABLES THE ALLOCATION OF ENERGY
TOWARDS MORE PRODUCTIVE AND POTENTIALLY IMPACTFUL
ENDEAVORS.

, ➢ ENGAGING IN REGULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CONTRIBUTES TO
THE BODY'S ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY COMBAT STRESS BY
IMPROVING OVERALL FITNESS.

➢ CONSUMING WELL-BALANCED MEALS IS A VITAL COMPONENT IN
MAINTAINING HEALTHY EATING HABITS AND EFFECTIVELY
MANAGING STRESS.

➢ IN ORDER TO RECOVER FROM STRESSFUL EVENTS, IT IS
IMPERATIVE TO ALLOW SUFFICIENT TIME FOR REST AND
ADEQUATE SLEEP. AS SUCH, THE INCORPORATION OF REST AND
SLEEP INTO ONE'S SELF-CARE REGIMEN IS OF UTMOST
IMPORTANCE.

1.2. Assess the consequences of educators' negative anger behaviours in the
classroom.
THE NEGATIVE DISPLAYS OF ANGER BY EDUCATORS IN THE
CLASSROOM MAY HOLD NOTEWORTHY IMPLICATIONS ON THE
EMOTIONAL AND ACADEMIC EVOLUTION OF THEIR PUPILS. SEVERAL
PROBABLE OUTCOMES EXIST AS POTENTIAL CONSEQUENCES:
➢ FEAR AND ANXIETY MAY ARISE IN STUDENTS DUE TO NEGATIVE
ANGER BEHAVIOURS EXHIBITED BY THE TEACHER, LEADING
THEM TO EITHER DEVELOP AN AVERSION TOWARDS THE
TEACHER OR COMPLETELY AVOID THEIR PRESENCE. THE
PRESENCE OF FEAR AND ANXIETY IS LIKELY TO ADVERSELY
AFFECT THE EAGERNESS OF THE INDIVIDUALS TO ENGAGE IN
VARIOUS ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES, THEREBY CULMINATING IN A
DECLINE IN THEIR ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

➢ THE PRESENCE OF NEGATIVE ANGER BEHAVIOURS HAS THE
PROPENSITY TO ENGENDER AN UNFAVORABLE LEARNING
MILIEU, WHEREIN STUDENTS MAY EXPERIENCE UNSAFETY,
INTIMIDATION, OR A LACK OF HOSPITALITY. THE MANIFESTATION
OF INCREASED STRESS AND FRUSTRATION CAN EXERT A
DELETERIOUS INFLUENCE ON THE EFFICACY OF ONE'S
LEARNING PROCESS.

➢ REDUCED MOTIVATION AMONG STUDENTS CAN MANIFEST AS A
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE EXPRESSIONS OF ANGER,
