My chosen business- Primark
Primark is a multinational clothing retailer founded in 1969 by Arthur Ryan with more than 65000
employees in 14 countries and still growing from high quality essentials to womenswear; menswear;
kids wear plus beauty; accessories and homeware. Primark continues growth and plans to develop new
shops in new countries. Primark welcomes everyone; each store is fueled by creativity and passion;
Primark aims to produce fast fashion and everyday essentials at prices that suit all people.
Primark timeline:
1969- first store ever in Ireland
1973- the first store in the UK Primark now has 191 around the UK
2006- first store in Spain
2008- first store in Netherlands out of the current 20 stores across the country
2009- expanding Primark roots in Europe new stores in Belguim and Germany
2012- first store in Austria
This development of new Primark stores around the world continues to expand until 2022 announcing a
new store in Romania and they expect to reach 530 stores by the end of 2026.

2- What makes you feel that this work is suitable for you other than the other candidates?

4- Do you know what your general responsibilities are as a customer assistant? What do you
expect your day-to-day work to be?
5- What are your expectations about the payment?
1-I am a year 11 student halfway through my GCSE exams at Ark Acton Academy where I have been
studying for the past two years. My time is divided between school lessons, afterschool interventions
and my job in a charity shop
