Stap 1: Variable view

Name = naam van de variabele

Type = is het een getal,... (meestal gewoon numeric) String → voor een tekst

Width = hoeveel cijfers of letters mag iets hebben (woorden → eestal rond de 500)

Decimals = hoeveel decimalen na de komma

Label = de vraag die gesteld wordt er bij

Values = 0 staat voor bv. Man, 1 voor bv. Vrouw of 1, niet akkoord; 2, neutraal; 3,
Helemaal akkoord

Missing = missende antwoorden, meestal 999 invullen

Columns = hoe breed het bakje wordt, bij open vragen is meer dan 8 gemakkelijker

Align = aan welke kant van het bakje de tekst staat

Measure = welke meeteenheid → nominal = nominaal, ordianal = ordinaal, scale =
interval en rartio

Role = altijd input want je zet er data in
