sympathomimetic bronchodilator, beta-2 adrenic agonist
Stimulates beta-2 receptors, causing relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, and
relaxation of vascular and uterine smooth muscle

Indications:
1. Bronchospasms assoc. with:
-asthma/reactive airway
-toxic gas inhalation/OD
-allergic rxn/anaphylaxis
-COPD
-drowning
2. hyperkalemia (crush injury)
Contraindications:
-known hypersensitivity

2.5 mg in 3 mL NS nebulized
repeat as needed
