Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my concerns of the Fair-trade certification and how it can be recognised
globally to Primark with recommendations and clear guidance.
The Fair-trade is the trade between companies in developed countries and producers in
developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers. By addressing a concern to
this issue it will help get people better working conditions and will allow them to be treated more
fairly in terms of the hours they are required to work and the amount they get paid per hour or
per garment.
This is a very serious ethical concern of the regional communities because by taking this matter
into consideration and doing what you can to make things better in countries where workers are
treated unfairly it will provide producer a beneficial support and competence in deepening the
equality opportunity and balanced gender as well as better housing, better schools and medical
facilities in worker communities is earned for a greater recognition. We feel if this issue is not
resolved immediately it will de-motivate the customers from shopping in your company due to
the fact we know that we know the clothes you are producing and selling are made in an
unethical way they are earning a little pay that is considered as a zero value and they are working
in a horrendous, atrocious and disgusting conditions. This should not happen in the UK. So I
deeply request you to treat the employees equally without discrimination or any harmful
harassment. This is extremely out of order and we want justice for the workers and producers in
the third world country.
