Omschrijving

Een contactor is een apparaat waarmee meerdere schakelaars samen worden bediend.

Bekrachtigingswikkeling kan gevoed worden met wisselspanning (AC) of gelijkspanning
(DC).


Opbouw

1 = Beweegbare ferromagnetisch gedeelte 1


2 = Vaste ferromagnetisch gedeelte 4

3 = Wikkeling op het vaste gedeelte
4 = Veren 3

Behuizing van de contactor is van isolatemateriaal.


Werking

Wanneer men de spoel voldoende bekrachtigd, zal het beweegbare gedeelte tegen het
vaste gedeelte worden aangetrokken, tegen de veerkracht in. Door de bekrachtiging
van de spoel zullen de schakelaars openen of sluiten. Wanneer men de spoel niet meer
bekrachtigingen zal het beweegbare gedeelte weggeduwd worden van het vaste
gedeelte door middel van de veren.


Terminologie

Ruststand = De stand van de schakelaars wanneer de spoel niet bekrachtigd is.
Werkstand = De stand van de schakelaars wanneer de spoel bekrachtigd is en de
veerdruk overwonnen is.
Normaal open = Maakcontatct
Normaal gesloten = Verbreekcontact
