Project Justification:This project aims to develop a Smart-Watch device with built-in health features, a camera, and a location tracking system for consumers.In the modern fast-paced society, many individuals have neglected their health due to the sedentary nature of work in Singapore. Eventually, came to realize only when they found out their health is in danger.1. The main ideology of SmartWatch360 is to help users maintain a healthy lifestylethrough healthy eating by allowing the SmartWatch to keep track of consumers foodintakes and providing them with the proper information and recommendation toattain their health goals.2. With the design of SmartWatch360, users around Singapore will have the enhancinghealth solution leading to improved quality of life and a positive contribute to theconsumer’s life.3. By MetaVerse technology, the SmartWatch will be able create a virtual profile of the userin the MetaUniverse.4. Given a high proliferation of connected devices among Singaporeans, and with theintroduction of 5G networks, the SmartWatch with give near live data through edge cloudcomputing.Coupled by the severe restrictions on movement due to the sedentary nature of work in Singapore and other aspects of health were overlooked. Hence, the SmartWatch is a unique project to support this cause. Major Deliverables:1. Provide a Smart-Watch device with a Camera and GPS tracking features.2. Consumers’ energy intake tracking features.3. Report of the outcome of the Prototype Project Success Criteria:The goals of this project are to develop a Smart-watch device to help consumers with health tracking features, as well as GPS tracking system. The timeline for this project will be 2 years, to collect current market feedback statistics. The project success is based on the ability to meet the project deliverables and deliver the project within the allocated budget given. Constraints and Assumptions:Constraints:1. Time needed to develop the system with required functions may take up to a year.2. Funds invested might not be able to sustain for 2 years.3. No funds granted from the university grant scheme.4. New system development team that is formed to support in the developing phase andtesting phase will require time to be familiarised with the product flow.5. End release product might not be up to stakeholders’ expectations.6. Gathering user data would have implications under the PDPA7.
