Using behavioural and environmental observations to explain and develop
theories.
When talking about behaviourism, often, you will hear about Skinner and
Pavlov’s observations- such as, Pavlov’s classical conditioning and salivating
dogs.
Pavlov paired a neutral stimulus (bell) with feeding time (unconditional
stimulus). This created classical conditioning so individuals could create
theories using this new knowledge of associations between pairs of stimuli.
