The "Introduction to Human Anatomy" by Professor Fink is a comprehensive document that provides a thorough overview of the structures and functions of the human body. This document is designed for students who are beginning their study of anatomy, as well as for those who have a basic understanding of the subject but want to deepen their knowledge. In this document, Professor Fink takes a systematic approach to the study of human anatomy, beginning with an introduction to anatomical terminology and concepts. The document then delves into the major systems of the body, including the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Each system is described in detail, with an emphasis on the structures, functions, and interrelationships of the various organs and tissues. In addition, Professor Fink includes numerous illustrations and diagrams to help students visualize the complex structures of the human body.

Anatomy is made up of two Greek roots, Anna and tone. Anatomy anantom, so what does
it mean tone means to cut and Ana means up. So anatomy is basically the study of
cutting up stuff. a cat scan gives us a picture or image as if we had made cuts or
sections through the body.. The father of modern human anatomy is named Andreas
Vesalius.. He was a physician who taught at a medical school in Belgium and he
would pay grave diggers to dig up human bodies out of the cemetery.. He compiled
all of these drawings into a seven-volume work called the Jumani Coporus Fabrica.
You don't have to know that you do not. the International Congress of Anatomists
meets and it 's an international body and they agree on the official names of the
different parts of the body. when we learn that this thigh. Bone this bone of the
upper leg, the thigh bone is called the femur. That name Femur is internationally
agreed upon that 's the name that it's called everywhere in the world. So if you
were taking an anatomy class or attending medical school, it wouldn't matter if
you're studying anatomy or medicine in the United States in Iran in China in Kenya
in Germany.

Anatomy is more advanced, more sophisticated, more complicated than anatomy.
Anatomy. Anatomy is really memorizing a bunch of names. in physiology. Physiology
is understanding these chemical and physical processes that to explain how it works
and in physiology. You use concepts that you learn about in chemistry courses like
Boyle 's law and Laplace 'Slaw. try it rub your finger right over your sternum and
as you rub it up and down. You 'll feel a ridge a bump that bump is called the
sternal angle of lewis Now Why do we care feel that bump that ridge go ahead do it
If you ca n't find it on yourself. How are you going to do it on a patient all
right. when you feel a bump just to the sides of that bump. Our ribs that 's the
second pair of ribs. the vertebral column is really in many. ways used like a
yardstick for locating not only where your heart is, but where your kidneys are,
and whether where other organs of the body are located We 're going to be learning
more about this so you know where they are so that we feel or palpate different
parts of the. body. So we know where the different organs are located.

An occupational therapist is focused on getting people jobs like how they can
function in the workplace and physical therapists just function more like Daytoday
being able to regain Yes. One of the main distinctions between a Pt and ot Ots is
which region or part of the body. They focus on now. Both Ots and Pts will learn
both arms and legs. all these things. I 'm covering right now are in chapter one of
every anatomy textbook. ct or cat stands for computerized tomography. This is where
they use xrays in a 360 degree plane through the body and by creating these images
around the entire body. They they use a computer to reconstruct what a section of
the body looks like. an MRi is where they use a magnetic field, creating these very
high magnetic fields to visualize to create images as if they 've made sections.
Through your body creates a very loud noise right and they use it very commonly for
images of the head, so Uh it allows images of of the brain, for example, to be
probably the clearest even better than a CT scan.. Another way of visualizing the
inside of the body is with ultrasound ultrasound.

You can get images of the inside of the heart and the arteries using an ultrasound
that's known as an echocardiogram done with ultrasound.. There are many other ways
of scanning or getting images using these various devices called radiological
anatomy.. These are techniques or ways that in the medical sciences we use to
investigate and evaluate the human body. we 're going to be learning all these
different systems of the body and when we study the human body by systems digestive
system, circulatory system, reproductive system and the nervous system. the nervous
system is without question the most complicated of the systems. the organ systems
