On the West
The Classical Legacy – Much more than just the origins of Greek and Roman philosophy. They are the
continuing symbolic legacy of Atlantis and the problems that had arisen from the old world.
Western Christianity – History is self explanatory. The west... goes to war over religious values... who
doesn’t go to war over our perceptions of morality? All our wars in human society are nothing but over
moral values, even resources – the use of these things often defined by our morality or even religion.
Therefore to me, its not the strongest point that westerners have used the banner of God to wage war,
for this is common in all of human society, to put up an arbitrary banner of righteousness to garner
troops against arbitrary enemies
European Languages – White people have lots of different languages but so do African people and First
Nations people.
Separation of Church & State – This is something quite distinctive to European society... separation
between spirituality and government. This is an issue. It's actually maybe all nation states should
embrace the positive nature of their spiritual truths.
Rule of Law – There's organization of people who enforce rules of society which allow civilized existence.
This is not exclusive to European society, all world societies have had their own versions of laws and
rules. As to whether it manifests strictly into the western definitions of particular laws like a
"constitution", is another story. The real question is how we can legitimize the truth of how other
cultures see what the west calls the rule of law.
Pluralistic – See Atlantean reference, but also simply the overall teachings of managing differences in the
manifest of human consciousness and society, true this is somewhat exclusive
Individualism – individual rights and freedoms although many of them unique to western society, are
shared with other societies from around the world
