P4 - In this assignment I will demonstrate working as part of a team towards achieving
specific goals through communication and personal skills.

The members of my team were selected randomly in order to achieve a task, which consists
in creating an educational game for a 7 years old child who is going in a trip. We were four
members in the group, and we were called ‘Fantastic Four’.

Our goals:

- Creating a game activity designed for a 7 years old boy which is going in a long trip
with his parents
- The game it must be an educational game
- The game must be suitable for a long journey

How we worked towards achieving our goals:

Our team was a very friendly and responsible team and we all worked together in a
pleasant environment. We shared our ideas and we took a decision about what our game
will be and how suitable is it for young children.

According Belbin’s Theory, our team members were composed from a Plant, an
Implementer, a Team worker and the Co-ordinator, which I think it is the perfect team.

Our team members came in with loads of ideas and we discussed together about which
would be the best one. Everyone described the games they were thinking of , such as
Scrabble, Guess the Animal, etc. and then we voted for the best idea.

After deciding that our game will be a ‘Search Word’ which was designed with science
words, we shared all the responsibilities between members. Shanon was writing the words
helped by Nabeel, Alisha was drawing the model of the pages and I was creating the design.

As a team leader I clarified the goals and I was making sure that everyone understood the
tasks. I suggest that Alisha is artistic and she should draw the game and as a Plant, I asked
Shanon to find the words, because she is very creative and clever. I and Nabeel were
already working on the design.
