Muscles of the orbital cavity
The extraocular muscles arise from a tendinous ring or from the walls of the
orbit and attach to the upper eyelid or eye itself.
Nerve supply:
Sixth cranial Nerve (Abducent nerve) to Lateral Rectus (LR6)
Fourth cranial nerve (Trochlear nerve) to superior oblique (SO4)
Third cranial nerve (Oculomotor nerve) to all remaining muscles
