- Omzet stijgt eerst en neemt daarna weer af. Bij welke hoeveelheid is de omzet maximaal
- Maar dat kan ook worden berekend door de eerste afgeleide te berekenen van de TO functie
deze bewerking heet DIFFERENTIEREN

Van prijs naar TO
- Stel dat een aanbieder in een markt actief is waar de volgende vraagfunctie geldt: p = -4q +
400

- Om te komen tot de functie voor de totale opbrengst (TO)



De 3 regels van differentiëren:

1. Constante weghalen
2. Bij 1 variabele (vb: 4q)  haal de q weg
3. Bij variabele met q2 , q3 etc  huidige macht ervoor en macht met 1 verlagen



VB: TO = 4q2 + 6q + 350

Afleiden naar q maakt van TO  MO

MO = 2*4q + 6 + 0

MO = 8q + 6
