, Inleiding
Regelgeving is nodig om ons in beweging te krijgen, maar beter zou zijn als duurzaamheid een plek in
ons hart krijgt en we daarvan de consequenties van ons handelen gaan inzien en daarmee dit
handelen gaan bijstellen. Om dit te realiseren ligt het voor de hand te beginnen bij het onderwijs. De
maatschappij heeft de steun van docenten nodig om duurzaamheid te agenderen. Duurzaamheid
moet dus een plek krijgen in het bestaande systeem om verandering mogelijk te maken.

In het laatste jaar van de opleiding Vastgoed & Makelaardij aan de Fontys Hogescholen in Eindhoven
krijgen de studenten het vak verduurzaming in vastgoed. Binnen deze module doet de student kennis
op over het zuiniger omgaan met producten, grondstoffen en het milieu. Daarbij leert de student
over de middelen die toegepast kunnen worden in de praktijk. Aan de hand van opdrachten wordt er
in kaart gebracht of de student genoeg kennis heeft geworven over het vak. In dit document leest u
