Focus will be for the student to identify client/patient needs and plan priority of nursing care. Associated psychomotor skills will be integrated and practiced in the clinical setting. The Nursing Process, the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) goals, Critical thinking, best practices, and scientific evidence will be employed to identify alterations for age appropriate client/patient centered care. . PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLOs) Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. Apply the nursing process through critical thinking and professional nursing judgment to provide and evaluate nursing care in acute and long-term care and community settings at the entry-level practice. 2.
