Healthcare Management Capstone Task 3-complete

Healthcare Management Capstone Task 3-complete. There are three leadership concepts or theories that I have learned from throughout this program. The first is servant leadership. I am very much so a servant leader, and this reinforced how I like to lead my staff members. Servant leadership is about investing in each individual to become the best version of themselves. It’s about using your authority to help them succeed, and be high functioning performers. When a leader utilizes this approach, the staff feel more open and are more willing to work with you. It shows that you care about them as a person, not just about the task at hand. I believe this is so important in the workplace. The second is transformational leadership. Transformational leadership is about motivating and encouraging your employees. It’s about relationship and mentorship. This allows employees to be engaged and have ownership of their duties, thus gives them fulfillment and pride. It helps the workplace have creative minds who are looking to improve their workplace and jobs, and creates a thriving environment. I really like this theory because it helps your employees excel. They begin to solve problems and develop critical thinking skills. They become part of the solution, in an environment that is constantly changing and full of problems.
