Deze “Critically Appraised Topic” (CAT) is geschreven voor een opdracht in de module
verpleegkundig leiderschap. Dit verslag is opgebouwd vanuit de methodische stappen van
evidence-based practice (EBP) zoals omschreven in “Onderzoek in de gezondheidszorg”
(Bakker & van Buuren, 2019) en “Evidence-based practice voor verpleegkundigen” (Munten,
Verhoef, & Kuiper, 2016).

Bij deze CAT staat de Canadian Medical Education Directions for Specialists (CanMEDS) rol
Reflectieve EBP-professional met bijhorende kernbegrippen ‘onderzoekend vermogen’ en
‘inzet EBP’ centraal zoals staat omschreven in het opleidingsprofiel Bachelor of Nursing
2020 (Lambregts, Grotendorst, & Van Merwijk, 2015).
