In this assignment I will create a presentation which evaluates how a business
can use social media for commerce. It will include ways a business can use
social media to interact with customers, create a good brand image or promote
products and services, it will also include how business can use social media to
target a specific audience.

, Different Ways In Which A Business Can Use Social
Media
● A business can use social media to promote their products or services they want to sell.
● Also business can also use social media to increase their brand awareness (increase consumer recognition).
This is good because it makes them better known by the people around them. Those people can also tell friends
and family about the business.
● Businesses can also use social media to interact with their customers. They can do this by posting interactive
posts on their social media platforms, such as with instagram they can allow the followers to repost posts,
answer polls, ask questions, do quizzes, rate posts or products. This is good because it humanizes the
business, and builds a relationship between them and the customers.
● Furthermore the business can use social media to collaborate with other business. This is good as it will attract
customers from both businesses.
● Lastly businesses can use social media to look at their competitions businesses and the ways others are
promoting, then they can do better then them and improve their own business.
● A good features on instagram is that they have an explore page that puts recommended posts for the user on
there. This is good for businesses because they can come up on people's explore pages. Ways to get on explore
pages is to make your posts stand out, post IGTV videos (long videos on instagram), or by checking analytics
and posting when your viewers are most active.
